Bright Blue, We Love You

As peacock blue becomes mainstream, we can't help but to keep selecting fabrics with more of a royal blue punch.  It just happens, and we love what it goes with: everything.  We can't enough of this bird print by GP&J Baker and the mix of that vibrant green tobacco, and royal blue.  It is a favorite in our book.  Those colors can pull you all the way from fall to summer.

Let Your Mind Design

Lacquer, Lacquer, Lacquer.  Not only does it provide a durable finish for children's furniture, it looks crisp in any setting -- traditional to modern. We had his custom side table made for my daughter and it has been a great alternative to the typical nightstand.  It can move from room to room, and from toddler to teen.  And the best thing is no one else will have it.  Let us help you design a one-of-a-kind.

This Ain't Your Mama's Grasscloth...

Yes, it's coming back with a vengeance.  And why not?  It is a great way to add something to a wall, be it texture, color, or in this case, pattern.  We took this one accent wall, and WOW, did it make a wonderful focal point for the room!  The cream background with subtle gold design can be a backdrop for a great piece of art or it can be the art itself.  We love grasscloth and welcome its return.

Pictured here is an upholstered bed that we recently custom-designed and had manufactured by our talented friends at Carriage House Furniture. Featuring muted fabric, white laquered wood and a moulding of carved golden beadwork, the bed accomplished the warmth and sophistication our client sought for her master bedroom.  Also pictured is a lamp from Switch's new line of ceramic lighting and Aviva Stanoff hand-painted pillows.
