Owned by Kate Newman, K. Interiors is a full service interior design studio offering luxury home decor for residential spaces.
Our portfolio ranges from individual consultations to complete home renovations. We listen to the needs and desires of our clients, then integrate our findings into a custom design that is a perfect mix of sophistication, comfort, originality, and whimsy.
Our designs are based on traditional design rules, but we pride ourselves in breaking some of those rules along the way. The finished project is a result of the client's personal style, K. Interiors attention to detail, and strong client–designer collaboration.
Kate Newman, Owner and Principal Designer, opened K. Interiors in 2007, and has developed long-term relationships with clients across the country and across the pond. As a Charlotte native with a strong pull toward the Low Country, Kate’s designs lean into her Southern roots. Her original and sophisticated spaces incorporate her love for eclectic vintage pieces and goods with a bit of funk.
When she’s not in the studio, Kate loves hunting for the perfect piece of art, catching great live music with her husband, and volunteering at the Raptor Center with her two daughters to fulfill her dream of mastering the art of falconry.
